BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 17. Azerbaijan’s total crude oil and oil products’ exports stood at around 11.384 million tons worth $8.058 billion from January through May 2022, Trend reports with reference to the State Customs Committee.
In terms of import volume, Italy came in first with 4.737 million tons worth $3.327 billion, followed by Israel with 1.194 million tons worth $855.500 million and India with 959,145 tons worth $770.016 million.

There are three main oil pipelines transporting oil from Azerbaijan to its neighbours and on to world markets: Baku-Novorossiysk Pipeline, Baku-Supsa Pipeline and Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) Pipeline.
In addition, railway lines traversing the length of Azerbaijan are also used to convey oil to the Batumi and Kulevi terminals located on the Black Sea along the coast of Georgia.
