BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 5. The volume of diesel fuel production in Kazakhstan will exceed 5 million tons in 2022, Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan Bolat Akchulakov said during a briefing, Trend reports.
"The production of diesel fuel gradually increases year on year, with the exception of 2020. In order to ensure the domestic market with the necessary volume of petroleum products,the processing of oil and production of fuel and lubricants have been increased. The forecast of diesel fuel production for 2022 amounts to 5.2 million tons, which is 300,000 tons more than in 2021 and 640,000 tons more than in 2020," he stated.
"The production of diesel fuel amounted to 3.5 million tons already in the first eight months of 2021, which is 259,000 tons more than in the same period the previous year," Akchulakov added.
