BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 5. The 10th gas refinery of Iran’s South Pars Gas Company (SPGC) produced more than 13 million barrels of gas condensate, during the first nine months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through December 21, 2022), said Mohammad Nemati, Head of the 10th refinery of the SPGC, Trend reports citing the company’s information portal.
According to Nemati, the 10th refinery also produced 194,000 tons of ethane and 268,000 tons of propane in 9 months.
“In addition, 215,000 tons of butane, 62,000 tons of sulfur and more than 12 million cubic meters of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) were produced by the mentioned refinery within the mentioned period,” the official said.
As reported, the 10th refinery of the SPGC has the capacity to produce 50 million cubic meters of sweet gas, 77,000 barrels of gas condensate, 2,400 tons of ethane, 1,800 tons of propane, 1,100 tons of butane, and 320 tons of sulfur per day.
