BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 22. Azerbaijan exported over 1.8 million tons of crude oil and petroleum products to Israel from January through August 2023, which is 9.83 percent of the total Azerbaijani exports of raw materials, Trend reports.
This indicator increased by 11.49 percent (by more than 187,630 tons) year-on-year.
The value of exports of Azerbaijani oil and petroleum products to Israel in the above-mentioned period amounted to over $1 billion, which is 7.61 percent less ($89.6 million) compared to the same period in 2022.
In general, Azerbaijan exported 18.5 million tons of oil and oil products from January through August this year, which is 2.9 percent more than in the same period last year (17.9 million tons). In addition, oil exports exceeded $11.2 billion, which is 18.14 percent, or $2.5 billion less than in the same period of 2022.
