Energy Exchange of Iran names products to be on sale for October 2

BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 2. More than 43,200 tons of various hydrocarbon products will be on sale at the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) on October 2, Trend reports.

Of the mentioned volume, 34,100 tons will be on sale on the domestic floor of the energy exchange.

The following goods are to be offered:

- Iranian Esfahan Oil Refining Company’s 8,000 tons of iso-recycle;

- Shazand Oil Refining Company’s 5,000 tons of CSO;

- South Pars Gas Company’s 3,150 tons of gas condensate;

- Shiraz Oil Refining Company’s 3,000 tons of iso-recycle, 1,000 tons of iso-feed and 148 tons of solvent-404 products;

- Zagros Petrochemical Company’s 2,600 tons of methanol;

- Abadan Oil Refining Company’s 2,000 tons of light naphtha;

- Kaveh Methanol Company’s 1,800 tons of methanol;

- Shiraz Petrochemical Company’s 1,700 tons of methanol;

- Middle East Pars Chemical Company’s 1,000 tons of methanol;

- Marjan Petrochemical Company’s 1,000 tons of methanol;

- Bushehr Petrochemical Company’s 1,000 tons of methanol;

- Khuzestan Steel Company’s 506 tons of liquid oxygen, 418 tons of liquid nitrogen products;

- Tabriz Petrochemical Company’s 400 tons of hydrocarbons (C7-C9) and 150 tons of heavy distillate and 60 tons of pentane products;

- Zarand Iranian Steel Company’s 400 tons of tar;

- Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company’s 308 tons of heavy distillate and 200 tons of liquefied gas;

- Jam Petrochemical Company’s 200 tons of heavy distillate;

- Shimibaft Petrochemical Company’s 100 tons of MTBE products.

In addition, 9,100 tons of products will be on sale on the international floor of the IRENEX:

- Iranian Persian Gulf Star Oil Company’s 6,000 tons of distillation tower residue;

- Shimibaft Petrochemical Company’s 2,500 tons of MTBE;

- Tabriz Petrochemical Company’s 400 tons of hydrocarbons (C7-C9) and 200 tons of pentane products.

Meanwhile, the value of total sales at the IRENEX for the last week was around 16.7 trillion rials (about $40.4 million) during the last Iranian week (Sept. 23 through Sept. 27, 2023), representing a 67 percent decrease from the previous week (Sept. 16 through Sept. 20, 2023).

Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) sells its products at the SANA exchange rate.

The SANA system is a system introduced by the Central Bank of Iran to the currency exchange outlets, where the price of 1 euro is 435,998 rials and the price of $1 is 412,039 rials.

The sale of hydrocarbon products at the Iran Energy Exchange is of great importance to the country’s economy. Through the energy exchange, Iran seeks to provide hydrocarbon products needed by local companies as well as increase exports.
