Installation of the new equipment within the framework of the project “The transmission system rehabilitation program”, credited by the German Development Bank KfW is underway, Azerenerji Joint Stock Company (JSC) told Trend. Replacement of keys at substations in Mashtaga, Evlakh, Yashma, Hirdalan, Imishli and etc. is mainly carried on.
JSC noted Siemens and Azerenerji work over elaborating the schedule for the power supply switching off while connecting the new equipment to the system. Implementation of the project is planned in “The state program for development of the fuel and energy complex of Azerbaijan (2005-2015)”.
The project is funded by German KfW, allocating15,338 million euro under the project for 40 years by the 10-year grace period and the annual rate of 0,75%.
