Scheduled repairs have been launched at Dede Gorgut drilling rig, SOCAR officials told Trend. Dede Gorgut belongs to Caspian Drilling Company JV (CDC). It is suggested to replace living quarters, waste treatment system and preventors. All repairs shall be completed within 56 days.
Upon completion of these operations, drilling rig will return to depths of Guneshli field to keep on drilling. Earlier, Р'Р installed a template on drilling site to enable advance boring.
An advance well is drilled from this rig at depths of Guneshli field within the framework of BP-operated Azeri-Chirag Guneshli project.
