Vagit Alekperov, the President of the Russian Oil company LUKOIL stated in Baku on 7 October that he has always been sure that he Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan is an oil pipeline that has a right for life. It enables stable export of oil volumes produced in Azerbaijan, including the perspective ones, Trend reports.
This is a new corridor that enabled to unload the Russian transport system, he noted.
As to the project in the North Caspian, we are shareholders of the CPC and keep under control a big plant in Volgograd. We direct in the northern directions the field tat are located in the North part of the Caspian and that are held by LUKOIL, Alekperov stressed.
