Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend S.Aliyev / On 21 June, an explosion took place at 14:45 in well No. 3878 on the Bibiheybat field of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), and as a result, two people have died and two are wounded. During perforation work, a detonator was connected to a charge. This equipment was launched into the well with a logging cable, but suddenly blew up. Presently SOCAR is discussing the issue.
