Energy Security Remains Priority for Georgia: Energy Minister
Georgia, Tbilisi / corr Trend N.Kirtzkhalia / Energy security remains to be a priority task for Georgia, Alexander Khetaguri, the newly appointed energy minister of Georgia, said in talks with journalists before the meeting of the Government on 1 September..
"We are keen to lead to the end the process that was outlined during the previous leadership of the Ministry. It was a strategic task that the President instructed," he said.
Khetaguri said that much has been done in this direction.
"We are eager to continue development of alternative routes for delivery of energy resources and play a considerable in the oil and gas transit from the Caspian to Europe," the minister said.
