BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 25. Total assets of Azerbaijan's AccessBank increased by 13.2 percent in 2Q2022 compared to the same period last year, Trend reports citing the bank's balance sheet.
According to Access Bank, its total assets increased by 117.5 million manat ($40.6 million) over the year - up to 1.003 billion manat ($590 million).
The largest share in the structure of assets (71.01 percent) was the loan portfolio, which grew by 30.5 percent over the year to 712.4 million manat ($419.05 million).
Deduction of targeted reserves from the bank's portfolio to ensure possible losses amounted to 38.2 million manat ($22.4 million).
According to the results of 2Q2022, about 14.8 percent of the bank's assets were cash and cash equivalents - 148.4 million manat ($87.2 million).
Another 4.8 percent of AccessBank's total assets were investments in securities - 48.5 million manat ($28.5 million).
Bank’s other assets amounted to 30.6 million manat ($18 million) in the second quarter of 2022.
