BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 26. The largest share of loans issued in Azerbaijan in June 2022 fell on households, amounting to 52.7 percent of total lending, Trend reports citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
According to CBA, the volume of loans issued to households, in the reporting month, grew on an annual basis by 2.59 billion manat ($1.52 billion), or 35.49 percent - from 7.3 billion manat ($4.3 billion) to 9.9 billion manat ($5.8 billion).
At the same time, lending to the sphere of trade and services increased over the year by 592.7 million manat ($348.6 million), or 23.17 percent - up to 3.15 billion manat ($1.85 billion) compared to 2.5 billion manat ($1.4 billion) in June 2021. The share of trade and services in the total volume of lending amounted to 16.7 percent.

Lending to the real sector of the Azerbaijani economy totally increased by 23.3 percent, or 3.56 billion manat ($2.09 billion) in June 2022 compared to the same month in 2021 - from 15.25 billion manat ($8.97 billion) to 18.8 billion manat ($11.06 billion).
