BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 9. The cost of paid services provided to Baku's population totaled 2.495 billion manat ($1.46 billion), increasing by eight percent in the first half of 2022 compared to the same period of 2021, Trend reports via the Baku City Statistics Department.

During this period, legal entities provided the capital's population with services, accounting for 2.404 billion manat ($1.41 billion), or 96.4 percent of the overall service value.

From January through May 2022, the cost of paid services delivered to the city's residents grew by 8.1 percent against the same period of 2021 and amounted to 2.156 billion manat ($1.26 billion).
