TEHRAN, Iran, August 25. The Statistical Center of Iran (SCI) announced the monthly inflation rate of 4.3 percent for the Iranian month ending July 21, which is 6.2 percent lower than the last month, Trend reports citing IRNA.
The monthly inflation rate reports the changes in the consumer price index — based on a set basket of commodities — within the 30 days from June 22 to July 21.
According to the SCI, the spot inflation rate for non-edible goods and services reached 16.3 percent and 4.2 percent, respectively.
