BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 25. A Serbian member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željka Cvijanović, has been invited to participate in the upcoming 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) in Azerbaijan, Trend reports.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Vilayat Guliyev met with Željka Cvijanović and handed over the invitation letter to COP29 addressed to her by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
The diplomat provided detailed information about preparations for COP29 in Azerbaijan and the large-scale projects being implemented in the field of transitioning to green energy.
Željka Cvijanović shared her positive impressions of her visit to Azerbaijan in March this year and her meeting with the Azerbaijani head of state and expressed satisfaction with the development of comprehensive ties between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Azerbaijan.
