The National Certification Services Center of Azerbaijan plans to complete technical work on mutual recognition of electronic signatures with Turkey by the end of this year, the Center told Trend.
The source noted that work is also currently underway to address the legal aspects of this issue.
The mutual recognition of e-signatures between the countries will simplify the registration of goods during crossing borders, which is important for development of international trade relations and access to the global markets.
The work on this direction, as previously reported, is being carried out within a memorandum signed with the Turkish side.
Azerbaijan is ready technologically to ensure the mutual recognition of e-signature certificates with Turkey.
Earlier, negotiations on mutual recognition of e-signatures were also held with Iran, Qatar and Ukraine.
