The Azerbaijan State University of Economics (ASUE) intends to create its own cryptocurrency - UNECOIN, a source in the university told Trend Oct. 3.
“The work in this direction is underway,” the source noted. “It is envisaged that by using this cryptocurrency, the university students will be able to pay for their studies.”
For the first time, the idea of creating own cryptocurrency by the ASUE was voiced at the end of last year, during a meeting in Baku with leading expert in the field of cryptocurrency and electronic money, Professor Ruslan Makarov, who provided extensive information on the legal regulation of the economy, the concept of electronic money, their function and their positive results.
