The meeting of the Coordination Council of the state program on development of communications and information technologies in 2005-2008s (Electronic Azerbaijan) was held at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies, Trend reports.
Iltimas Mammadov, the deputy information technologies minister, was appointed the chairman of the Council.
During the information, Mammadov provided information about work done within the program that was confirmed for the realization of the national strategy on development of communications and information technologies in Azerbaijan in 2003-2012s.
During the event, it was stated that several results have already been obtained, the initial amount necessary for the execution of separate points of the plan of measures, procedures and period of work has been defined, extensive discussions on the working group have been held and an agreement has been reached on separate measures.
