Chinese CNPC opens tender for selling of lump sulfur in Turkmenistan

The China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) has announced a pre-qualification process for the tender for selling of lump sulfur with an annual volume of 200,000 tons.

Minimum quarterly supply: 50,000 tons.

The quality of the supplied sulfur corresponds to TDS 1017.1-2017 SORT 9990.

The deadline for applications is Feb. 30, 2020.

Interested parties should submit an application with the following information: information about the company; company registration document; power of attorney of the company to an authorized representative; financial information and experience with similar deliveries over the past three years.

The corporation is engaged in hydrocarbon exploration and production operations in onshore and offshore areas in China.

CNPC signed the Bagtyyarlyk Production Sharing Agreement with the Government of Turkmenistan in 2007. The field, located on the right bank of the Amu Darya River, is a source for supply of Turkmen gas to China.
