Major Kazakh SCAT airline company is implementing flights to China in normal mode, a representative of the airline company told Trend.
SCAT implements flights on the route Nur-Sultan - Xi'an (city in China) twice a week on Mondays and Fridays.
According to the representative, all necessary means ensure safety of the passengers are implemented without fail.
“Following each flight, the plane is being cleaned, all seats are treated with special cleaning products. This is a standard procedure which is carried out on a regular basis,” the official said.
Talking on the plane actually being in China, the official noted that the plane itself does not stay in the country for a significant amount of time.
“The plane arrives ‘with a turn’, which means that it disembarks passengers, undergoes pre-flight preparation, cleaning and flies away,” the official said.
An outbreak of previously unknown pneumonia later identified as a new type of coronavirus and denoted as 2019-nCoV was registered in China's Wuhan in late December.
As of Jan.22, 2020 the number of those infected amounted to 440 people, whereas the number of deceased amounted to nine people.
