The number of passenger cars produced in Uzbekistan from January through November 2020 amounted to about 260,860, which is 2.93 percent more compared to the same period in 2019, Trend reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.
Some 73,871 Cobalt cars (growth rates compared to the same period in 2019 amounted to 42.3 percent), 48,284 - Gentra (13.5 percent), 48.284 - Damas (0.7 percent) and 8,112 - Labo (21.6 percent) were produced in the automotive industry from January through October 2020.
Only Spark and Nexia cars production decreased for the reported period by 11.3 and 1.4 percent respectively. Some 62,302 Nexia cars were produced for the reported period, while the number of produced Spark cars amounted to 22,458.
The number of buses produced in Uzbekistan for 11M2020 amounted to 588, decreasing by 61.1 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2019. The largest production volume in 2020 was recorded in March, amounting to 176 units.
In addition, Uzbekistan produced 210,400 car engines, which is 12.9 percent more compared to the same reported period in of 2019. In 2020, the largest volume of production of these products was noted in July, amounting to 24,100 engines.
Some 3,726 trucks were produced in Uzbekistan in 11M2020, which is 26.3 percent less compared to the same reported period in of 2019. In 2020, the largest volume of production of these products was noted in November, amounting to 420 trucks.
