Azerbaijan’s export of goods by air amounted to 57,125 tons in 2020, which is 17 percent less than in 2019, Trend reports on Jan.18 referring to the report of the State Customs Committee (SCC).
According to the SCC, the export cargo transportation by air was carried out in the amount of slightly over $273.2 million, down 2.8 percent year on year.
In 2020, Azerbaijan carried out cargo transportation by air in the amount of $1.4 billion, which is 61 percent less than in the previous year.
Imports by air transport during the reporting year in volume terms made up more than 10,600 tons, and in terms of money - $1.1 billion, a decrease of 66 percent.
In 2020, Azerbaijan transported products worth almost $24.5 billion, which is 26.5 percent less than in 2019.
