Volume of cargo loaded/unloaded in Iran’s Noshahr Port decreases

The volume of cargo loaded and unloaded in the Noshahr port of the Mazandaran Province (northern Iran) decreased by 30.2 percent in the 9th month of the current Iranian year (November 23 through December 21, 2021), compared to the 8th month (October 23 through November 21, 2021), Trend reports via the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).

According to the statistics, a total of 28,700 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in this port over the reporting month. Of this, 2,360 tons were loaded and 26,400 were unloaded.

About 2,360 tons of cargo were exported and 26,400 tons were imported through the Noshahr port in the 9th month.

“So, 24,200 tons of essential products, 248 tons of construction and mining materials, 21 tons of equipment, vehicles and spare parts, 4,320 tons of leather goods, clothing, fibers, paper, and wood materials were loaded and unloaded in the Noshahr port in the 9th month of the current Iranian year.

About 11.9 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the ninth month of the current Iranian year. Of this, 6.28 million tons were loaded and 5.64 million tons were unloaded. This is an increase of 8.8 percent, compared to the same month last Iranian year.
