Cargo movements in Iran's Bushehr port down

The volume of cargo loaded and unloaded in the Bushehr port of the Bushehr Province (southern Iran) decreased by 18.6 percent in the 11th month of the current Iranian year (January 21 through February 19, 2022), compared to the 10th month (December 22, 2021 through January 20, 2022), Trend reports via the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).

According to the statistics, about 304,000 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in this port over the reporting month. Of this, about 184,000 tons were loaded and 120,000 tons were unloaded.

During the 11th month, 183,000 tons of cargo were exported and 35,300 tons were imported through the Bushehr port.

In addition, 70 tons of cargo were loaded in the port for transit, as well as 84,900 tons were unloaded for cabotage in the 11th month.

Also, 258 tons of cargo were loaded in the port for other purposes.

According to the statistics, 9,600 tons of essential products, 166 tons of metal products, 149,000 tons of construction and mining materials, 2,830 tons of equipment, vehicles and spare parts were loaded and unloaded in the Bushehr port in the 11th month of the current Iranian year.

Moreover, 2,310 tons of chemicals, 2,070 tons of leather goods, clothing, fibers, paper and wood materials, 21,900 tons of container products, 116,000 tons of crude oil and oil products were loaded and unloaded in this port within the mentioned period.

About 12.6 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the 11th month of the current Iranian year. Of this, 6.11 million tons were loaded and 6.49 million tons were unloaded. This is an increase of 14.3 percent, compared to the same month last Iranian year.
