BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 23. The volume of cargo loaded and unloaded in the Dayyer port of the Bushehr Province (southern Iran) decreased by 23 percent in the 12th month of the last Iranian year (February 20 through March 20, 2022), compared to the 11th month (January 21 through February 19, 2022), Trend reports via the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).
According to the statistics, over 17,000 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in this port in the 12th month. Of this, 13,300 tons were loaded and 3,790 tons were unloaded.
“So, 13,300 tons of cargo were exported through the Dayyer port within the 12th month,” the statistics said.
At the same time, 3,790 tons of cargo were unloaded in the port for other purposes.
In general, 94 tons of small and assorted goods and about 16,900 tons of container products were loaded and unloaded in Iran’s Dayyer port in the 12th month of the current Iranian year.
About 12.2 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the 12th month of the last Iranian year. Of this, 6.2 million tons were loaded and 5.98 million tons were unloaded. This is a decrease of 5.3 percent, compared to the same month of the preceding Iranian year.
