ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, September 28. Turkmenistan expressed openness to further cooperation with the German CLAAS KGaA GmbH company, Trend reports.
This was stated by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, during a meeting with the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of CLAAS, Cathrina Claas-Muehlhaeuser.
During the meeting, Cathrina Claas-Muehlhaeuser expressed interest in the development of an economic partnership between CLAAS and Turkmenistan.
In turn, Berdimuhamedov noted that this visit and the planned negotiations will contribute to strengthening the presence of CLAAS in Turkmenistan and deepening Turkmen-German ties.
The sides confirmed the existence of friendly and mutually beneficial relations between the two countries at the bilateral level, as well as within the framework of international organizations such as the UN and OSCE, and also noted fruitful cooperation in the fields of healthcare, agriculture, finance, etc.
At the same time, the gala of the state invited German partners to participate more actively in the implementation of industrialization and diversification programs in Turkmenistan's economy, stressing that great opportunities are opening up for foreign business and separately noting the successful operation of CLAAS agricultural machinery in the climatic conditions of Turkmenistan.
Meanwhile, the cooperation between Turkmenistan and CLAAS is an important and long-term partnership in the field of agriculture. CLAAS is one of the world leaders in the development and production of agricultural machinery and equipment, such as combiners, tractors, and other agricultural machines.
