BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 18. Russian exports of gasoline to Kyrgyzstan decreased from January through November 2022, Trend reports citing the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan.
According to statistical data, the value of Kyrgyz gasoline imports from Russia amounted to $304.9 million in 11 months of last year, which is a decrease of 8.9 percent over the same period in 2021 ($334.8 million).
The volume of Russian gasoline exports to Kyrgyzstan totaled 650.7 million liters from January through November 2022, which is a decrease of 20.9 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2021 (823.4 million liters).
During the reporting period of last year, Kyrgyzstan also imported gasoline from Kazakhstan for $2.6 million, Uzbekistan - about $2.3 million and Turkmenistan - $1.6 million.
Notably, the majority of Kyrgyzstan's gasoline continues to be imported from Russian oil refineries. In 2021, gasoline exports from Russia accounted for 96.9 percent of the total supply to Kyrgyzstan.
