BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 21. Tajikistan shared data on profits from dried fruit exports from January through June 2022, Trend reports with reference to the Customs Service of Tajikistan.
According to the statistical data, Tajikistan in six months of 2022 exported 18,853 tons of dried fruit in the amount of $12.9 million.
The main importers of Tajik dried fruit in the reporting period were Russia ($6 million) and Kazakhstan ($4.2 million).
Notably, Tajikistan's Sughd, is a main region from which dried apricots, grapes, plums, apples, peaches, pears, figs, other dried fruits are supplied abroad.
Meanwhile, the total amount of exported goods from Tajikistan amounted to $1.3 billion - an increase of 30 percent compared to the corresponding period of last year ($1 billion).
