BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 25. The report of the Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda on the results of socio-economic development in 2022 was presented at the government meeting, Trend reports via Tajik President's press service.
According to Rasulzoda, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Tajikistan amounted to 115.7 billion somoni ($11.2 billion) in 2022. The total value of agricultural production in Tajikistan amounted to 49.3 billion somoni ($4.8 billion).
During the last year, revenues to Tajikistan's state budget totaled 36.3 billion somoni ($3.5 billion), which is more than the plan by 1.3 billion somoni ($126.5 million).
Tajik PM noted that based on the results of 2022, a total of 190,000 new jobs were created in the country.
As emphasized, 2022 was recognized as a successful year for Tajikistan. Despite the problems of today's world and their negative impact on the Tajik economy, significant progress has been made in political, social and economic spheres.
