BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 23. A large cement plant located in the Koytendag district of the Lebap region in the east of Turkmenistan has increased production within the period of January through June 2022, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.
During this period, the enterprise produced 467,100 tons of cement. This is 23,600 tons more than in the same period last year.
This cement plant was put into operation in February 2013. The products manufactured here are sold not only in the domestic market, but also shipped abroad.
Furthermore, it is planned to complete the construction of another cement production plant near the enterprise soon.
Due to the increasing dynamics of the construction of industrial and social facilities in Turkmenistan, the industry is becoming one of the major sectors of the economy.
