BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 27. The Jeyhun cannery, located in the Lebap region in the east of Turkmenistan, has published indicators of canned fruit production from January through June 2022, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.
During this period, the enterprise produced 1.44 million canned fruit, which is 2 percent higher than the same period last year.
The share of canned apple jam in total production was 40.7 percent (591,000 cans).
With the increasing dynamics of the construction of industrial and social facilities in Turkmenistan, the industry is becoming one of the major sectors of the economy, which is given an important role in the implementation of import substitution programs and increasing the export potential of the state.
