BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 31. The Cheper sewing factory located in the Dashoguz region in the north of Turkmenistan significantly exceeded the production plan from January through September 2022, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.

During the specified period, the company manufactured textile products worth 13.6 million Turkmen manats ($3.8 million), exceeding the plan by 68.7 percent.

The production growth rate compared to the first nine months of 2021 was 119.4 percent.

The main part of factory's products is workwear, clothing for children, as well as military uniforms.

Turkmenistan plans to allocate more than $300 million for the implementation of over 30 projects in the textile industry by 2025.

In general, over the years of independence, about $2 billion were invested in the construction of new and reconstruction of existing textile enterprises.
