BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 5. Turkmenabat chemical plant of the Turkmenhimiya State Concern, located in the Lebap region in the east of Turkmenistan, has published production figures for 2022, Trend reports via “Business Turkmenistan” news agency.
According to the information, during the specified period, the plant produced 270,500 tons of phosphoric mineral fertilizers necessary to increase crop yields and 111,000 tons of sulfuric acid.
The Turkmenabat chemical plant exceeded the production plan by 20.8 percent for 2022.
With the increasing dynamics of the construction of industrial and social facilities in Turkmenistan, the industry is becoming one of the most important sectors of the economy, which is given an important role in the implementation of import substitution programs and increasing the export potential of the state.
