BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 26. A large cement plant located in the Koytendag district of the Lebap region in the east of Turkmenistan has increased production for 2022, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
According to the information, during this period, the enterprise produced 1,1 million tons of cement. This is 109,000 tons more than in the same period last year.
The enterprise exported 55 tons of cement to foreign countries in 2022.
This cement plant was put into operation in February 2013. The products manufactured here are sold not only in the domestic market but also shipped abroad.
Furthermore, it is planned to complete the construction of another cement production plant near the enterprise soon.
Due to the increasing dynamics of the construction of industrial and social facilities in Turkmenistan, industry is becoming one of the major sectors of the economy.
