Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang will visit Uzbekistan on Nov.28-29 at the invitation of Uzbekistan's Prime Minister Shaukat Mirzijaev, a source at the governmental circles told Trend on Nov.19.
During the visit, the Chinese Prime Minister will attend the 12th meeting of the heads of government of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states.
Li Keqiang will hold meetings with the heads of all countries of the organization and will discuss the issues of strengthening of SCO building, contribution to peace, stability and development in the region.
SCO was founded in 2001 and is a permanent intergovernmental international organisation. It includes Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan,China, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
India, Iran, Mongolia and Pakistan have observer status in the SCO. Belarus, Turkey and Sri Lanka are dialogue partners.
