The Uzbek Global Export LLC, in cooperation with the Embassy of Uzbekistan in London and the Export Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade, shipped the first batch of peanuts to the UK in the amount of $24,000, Trend reports citing Dunyo news agency.
According to the Department of Economic Diplomacy (DED) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Global Export is one of the largest and fastest growing exporters of agricultural products in Uzbekistan. To date, the company has successfully established deliveries of Uzbek products to more than 30 countries around the world, which speaks of unconditional trust on the part of foreign buyers.
In the future, a systematic increase in supplies is planned, which will help to strengthen the position of domestic products in the new market.
The DED noted that the implementation of active economic diplomacy and support for domestic exporters contribute to the promotion of national products in foreign markets.
Along with this, support from the state in the form of compensation for part of transportation costs played an important role in increasing the competitiveness of Uzbek products in the UK market.
