The volume of exports from Uzbekistan amounted to $12.4 billion from January through October 2021, which is a decrease of 6.7 percent compared to the same period last year ($13.3 billion), Trend reports citing the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
Exports to the CIS countries for the corresponding period amounted to $4.2 billion, to other countries it amounted to $8.1 billion.
The volume of imports to Uzbekistan from January through October 2021 increased by 20.5 percent compared to the same period in 2020 ($16.7 billion), reaching $20.2 billion.
Imports from the CIS countries during this period amounted to $8 billion, and from other countries amounted to $12.1 billion.
From January through September 2021, the volume of exports from Uzbekistan amounted to $10.3 billion, and the volume of imports amounted to $17.8 billion.
