The United Nations forecasted decline in consumer price inflation rate of Uzbekistan by the end of 2022 at 9 percent; Trend reports via January issue of the UN's report "World Economic Situation Prospects".
In 2021 the inflation rate of the country accounted for 11.1 percent.
According to UN’s forecasts, in 2023 this indicator is expected to be at 3 percent.
The United Nations also estimated GDP growth in Uzbekistan by the end of 2022 at 5.6 percent.
The growth of the economy of Uzbekistan in 2021 amounted to 6.2 percent.
In 2023 the economy of Uzbekistan is expected to grow by 4 percent, according to the report.
