BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 11. Uzbekistan has exported 1,200 tons of lemons worth $1.3 million to 6 countries from January through February 2022, Trend reports via Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
The export of lemons increased by 309 tons compared to the same period last year.
The biggest amount of lemons was exported from the country’s Fergana region, which amounted to 521 tons, followed by the Tashkent region (219 tons) and Khorezm region (159 tons).
During this period, most of the lemons were exported to Russia in the amount of 715 tons, followed by Kazakhstan (325 tons), and Kyrgyzstan (194 tons).
