TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, April 2. Uzbekistan has established a new amount of monetary compensation for gasoline, Trend reports.
According to Uzbekneftegaz, the amount of monthly monetary compensation from the first quarter of 2024 is set at 124,780 soums ($9.89).
A new amount of monetary compensation has been established based on the decision of the Interdepartmental Tariff Commission under the Cabinet of Ministers dated March 15, 2024.
Meanwhile, the amount of compensation for gasoline from the IV quarter of 2023 was 120,660 soums ($9.56).
A monthly monetary compensation is allocated to certain categories of persons to cover part of their expenses for the purchase of gasoline.
Compensation payments for gasoline are financed by Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
Persons entitled to receive compensation can apply to the bodies responsible for the appointment of pensions and benefits at their place of residence.
Earlier, Uzbekistan raised the price of car registration by 68 times.
The payment rate for registration and re-registration of electric cars, motorized vehicles, and trailers increased to 510,000 soums ($40), and for other vehicles, to 2.3 million soums ($182).
