TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, February 19. IT Park Uzbekistan and France-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce discussed the potential signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance IT cooperation, expand IT service exports, and attract French investment into Uzbekistan’s technology sector, Trend reports.

The news follows a meeting between the Chairperson of France-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce Joanna Golas, with the participation of Makhliyo Muksinova, Services Export Development Director at IT Park Uzbekistan.

In the course of the meeting, the sides discussed fostering collaboration between IT enterprises in both countries, strengthening Uzbekistan’s position as a regional IT hub, and leveraging opportunities for business process outsourcing. IT Park Uzbekistan presented an overview of the country’s IT ecosystem, emphasizing tax and customs incentives, support programs for startups, and initiatives aimed at promoting international partnerships.

Special attention was paid to the Zero Risk program, which offers foreign IT companies free office space and infrastructure support during their initial phase in Uzbekistan. This initiative aims to encourage global enterprises to establish operations in the country under favorable business conditions.

"France is one of Uzbekistan’s strategic partners in IT services export. We see significant potential for collaboration, particularly in IT and business process outsourcing. The presence of French companies in Uzbekistan will create jobs and reinforce the country’s role as an emerging global IT hub. At the same time, French enterprises will benefit from Uzbekistan’s skilled workforce and the opportunity to expand into new markets," Makhliyo Muksinova highlighted.

IT Park Uzbekistan remains committed to strengthening international partnerships and attracting foreign enterprises to its rapidly growing IT sector.
