The Isfahan deputy prosecutor was shot in front of his offices on March 16, the Iranian Fars news agency reported.
Isfahan Prosecutor Gholamreza Ansari said the suspect in Ahmadreza Tavallai's killing turned himself into the police. Tavallai was reviewing a lawsuit filed in a family dispute.
Ansari said Tavallai died at the scene.
A lawsuit was filed in the case.
