Iran, German foreign ministers discuss nuclear issue
Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi in a phone call with his German counterpart discussed Iran's nuclear issue, ISNA reported.
Iranian, German Foreign Ministers Ali Akbar Salehi and Guido Westerwelle in a phone talk discussed the latest nuclear dialogues between Iran and the 5+1 group as well as other regional issues of mutual interests.
Salehi noted the Iranian negotiating team attended the Moscow talks with full readiness and with constructive initiatives, adding if the P5+1 had taken necessary positive measures, grounds for taking important steps forward could have been possible.
The Iranian foreign minister and his German counterpart expressed hope that the upcoming Istanbul meeting would prepare the ground for higher level of talks between Tehran and the six world powers.
