Iran has purchased a flight inspection plane from Denmark for 10 million euro, said Ahmad Momeni Rokh, an official with Iran Airports Company (IAC) said.

The Danish Falcon King Air-350 plane which was bought four months ago will be registered in Iran in May, Momeni Rokh said, Iran's Tasnim news agency reported March 16.

The Iranian official added that the plane will undergo test flights in the coming days. He further said that none of Iranian pilots has a certificate for flying this kind of plane because the country will use this type of aircraft for the first time.

Previously, the flight inspections at Iranian airports were carried out by Pakistani and Kazakh airplanes, said the official.

After the agreement with Pakistan expired, Iran signed a new agreement with Kazakhstan, which is still in force.

Iran has already started training pilots for the use of the aircraft, he added.
