Iran’s 6th Development Plan (2016-2020) estimates oil revenue of $170 billion for the country.

In the meantime, the government is expected to collect 2.5 times tax as the oil revenue, said Hosseinali Haji Delikani, a member of the Parliament’s Committee of 6th Vision Incorporation, the IRIB news agency reported October 26.

On other aspects of the development plan, he said it highly emphasizes making aircraft.

Inflated salaries are also addressed in the vision, which says the difference between the lowest and highest payments should not exceed 20 percent, the lawmaker said.

Iran’s oil export stood at 1 million barrels per day (mbpd) during sanctions, which lasted until January 2016. Since then, the number has improved to 2.5 mbpd.
