The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for Jan. 15:
Export floor: Offers 9,520 tons of bitumen and insulation.
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 101,012 tons of polymers, bitumen, vacuum bottom feed stock, lube cut oil and paraffin wax.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 81,180 tons of hot and cold rolled steel, 1,980 tons of iron beam, 1,330 tons of wire copper, 3,000 tons of cathode copper, 1,000 tons of 1000lb aluminium ingots and 600 tons of aluminium billets as well as 10,000 tons of cement and 20 kilograms of gold bullion.
Agriculture floor: Offers 40,000 day-old chickens, 15,350 tons of wheat, 5,500 tons of sugar, 2,000 tons of crude vegetable oil, 3,099 tons of corn, 5,000 tons of feed barley and 170 tons of large lentil.
Furthermore, the side market of IME offers 600 tons of palm oil from Malaysia and 20 tons of lactic butter from Germany and Belgium, as well as 20 tons of citric acid.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets. There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
