The price of one gram of the 18-karat gold increased by 2.32 percent over the last Iranian week to stand at 1,588,580 rials (about $32.6) on the weekend.
The price of Bahar-e Azadi (Spring of Liberty) gold coin gained 1.86 percent over the week and stood at 16,400,000 rials ($337.3) on the last day of the Iranian week.
Meanwhile, the value of the US dollar against Iranian rial in the free market increased by 1.6 percent to post 48,653 rials.
The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) put the official rate of the US dollar at 37,743 rials on Friday, an increase of 1.12 percent compared to the preceding week.
According to the country’s real-time data sharing system, SANA, euro gained 3.71 percent to rest at 60,762 rials on the weekend. The official rate of euro increased by 1.2 percent to stand at 46,522 rials.
