The Bushehr province of Iran has exported non-oil items worth $56 million to Qatar in the first half of the current year (starting March 21), governor of Bushehr province Abdul Karim Grawend said in an exclusive interview with IRNA correspondent.
“The export of goods from the Bushehr province last year exceeded $70 million,” he said. “If this process continues, a new record in export of goods from Bushehr to Qatar will be fixed.”
Grawend predicts further increase in the trade turnover between Bushehr province and Qatar if the required programs are implemented in foreign trade.
"One of the problems in Qatar's economic relations is the lack of product quality and good packaging.
Qatari businessmen are interested in importing products from Iran, the nearest port of Iran - through the Bushehr port.
