Iran's non-oil export to Türkiye decreases

BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 11. Export of Iranian non-oil products to Türkiye decreased by 44.7 percent in value terms and 44.8 percent in weight terms in the first 11 months of the current Iranian year (from March 21, 2023 through February 19, 2024) compared to the same period last year, the statistics of Iran's Customs Administration says, Trend reports.

During the first 11 months, Iran exported 7.29 million tons of non-oil products worth about $3.82 billion to Türkiye. Iran's non-oil exports to Türkiye amounted to 13.2 million tons worth $6.9 billion in the same period last year.

The statistics note that Iran exported mainly agricultural and food products, petrochemical products, industrial and mining products, and so on to Türkiye.

The statistics add that in the 11th month of the current Iranian year (January 21-February 19, 2024), Iran's non-oil exports to Türkiye amounted to 314,000 tons worth about $534 million.

To note, according to the statistics of Iran's Customs Administration, the country's non-oil exports amounted to about 125 million tons worth about $44.9 billion in the 11 months of the current Iranian year (from March 21, 2023 through February 19, 2024). Exports of Iranian non-oil products decreased by 8.87 percent in value terms and increased by 11.4 percent in weight terms.
