The Statistical Center of Iran has released a report suggesting that Iranians, on average, work two hours and forty-six minutes per day.

Further, Iranians spent 12-14 hours per day for self care, while spending three minutes per day in volunteer work, the report, published Nov 18, revealed.

According to the report, the largest increase in time belongs to daily self care, while the hours Iranians spent on education dramatically decreased over the past seven years.

Further, the report suggests that Iranians spend 129 minutes on social media per day.

The report also revealed that females are less involved in financial activities than are men.

According to the Statistical Center of Iran, the unemployment rate was 10.6 per cent in 2014.
